Spiritual Integration of Consciousness is a term of art within the field of Energy Spirituality®. The term was developed by Rose Rosetree and published on her blog. Energy Spirituality® has a trademark because she filed for it under her name. Like all of her 11 trademarks, approved by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office!
Specifically, Spiritual Integration of Consciousness is a new way to accelerate spiritual evolution, a way that was not available for spiritual seekers until the Shift on Dec. 21, 2012. The Shift into the Age of Awakening!
This is an automatic process for balancing the two steps needed now, for moving full speed ahead in your spiritual growth.
Step 1 is Spiritual Expansion of Consciousness, which we receive from doing Spiritual Technique Time.
Step 2 is Spiritual Integration of Consciousness, which we receive from paying attention to life in ordinary human ways. NOT doing fancy techniques with our consciousness, such as mindfulness or self-awareness.
Technically, doing mindfulness or self-awareness counts as Spiritual Technique Time. So itwould not count for Step 2.
Moreover, practices like mindfulness and self-awareness have very Low Truth Value. Although popular at this time, they do not work well, as you can read at the Energy Spirituality Blog, with such articles as “SLOW DOWN Propaganda? Pace Yourself YOUR Way“.
Spiritual Integration of Consciousness only works well when a person does just 20 Daily Minutes (Total) of Spiritual Technique Time.
And it only works for those who live in the second consciousness era on Earth, the Age of Awakening.
Now let’s explore in depth . . . and with fun.
Spiritual Integration of Consciousness #1.
Can You Understand This? Definitely
Today I’m officially introducing a new term of art within Energy Spirituality®.
Spiritual Integration of Consciousness is something you do with your awareness, your beautiful-and-sacred flow of consciousness.
If you have normal mental functioning, and you live on Earth now, yes! You can benefit from Spiritual Integration of Consciousness. Actually, you may be doing this already. You may do this:
- Automatically
- Effortlessly, and
- Powerfully
But There’s a Catch
You can only gain the benefits if you’re doing the necessary two-step — a very human dance, benefiting self-actualizing people. And helping you why? Since you happen to be living now, in the Age of Awakening. Race ahead to Section #7, if you’re in a big hurry to get to the bottom line.
However, you’ll likely get better results from this new kind of knowledge . . . if you read everything that follows. And read it at normal pace.
Huh? What I mean is, please avoid skim-reading. That’s better for things you already know, like articles that spice up what you already believe and expect, bring you a fresh little tweak.
Today’s topic, Spiritual Integration of Consciousness, is leading-edge new. Don’t expect flashy, please. In my work that’s never the point. Instead, expect to learn something with High Truth Value.
Spiritual Integration of Consciousness #2.
Are You Eligible for This Kind of Giant Step Forward?
Depends.
Suppose that you aim for personal development that involves your consciousness. Any kind! You’ll do it better if you make use of a force within you that only began with the Age of Awakening: Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
You’re in a position to benefit if, for instance, you’re into one of these:
- “Seeking Enlightenment in the Age of Awakening“.
- Aiming for psychological growth and wholeness.
- Passionately interested in Spiritual Awakening
- Involved in a religion. * Inspiring example: Recently deceased, Pope Francis.* And a scary example: Newly appointed Pope Leo XIV. *
- Spiritual but not Religious. Or you’re religious, to some degree, but not minding if I’m not churchy.
- Basically, whatever your path, you care about making spiritual and emotional progress.
Really, there are countless examples of what will make you eligible to benefit from Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
If you have any questions about this, or any but-but-but’s, just ask.
Spiritual Integration of Consciousness #3. Telling It to You Straight
Many Good Goals Do NOT Directly Use Consciousness
Commonly, seekers of the following goals use aspirational language that may sound similar to how one can talk about personal growth. Either way, many folks use the same kinds of Psychology Talk and Energy Talk that originated in the 60s. (Seems to me, in the Age of Awakening, ordinary Human Talk can work far better for us all.)
Anyway, the point here is discernment. I’m not trying to “be negative,” just realistic.
In reality, the following goals do NOT involve spiritual consciousness.
- Making $5 million dollars by the time you are 3o.
- Becoming famous as a performer — or even famous for being famous
- Earning tons of money as a writer on Substack
- Jacking up your body with remarkable muscular development
- Aiming to perfect yourself and your life through diet, such as living as a vegan
By all means, if any of these are your dreams, pursue them. As an Enlightenment Coach, though, it is my job to add this: Don’t fool yourself into thinking that dreams like these will move you anywhere near to using your full potential of consciousness.
Spiritual Integration of Consciousness #4.
What If You’re an Empath?
Does Spiritual Integration of Consciousness happen to you automatically? Due to being an empath?
Is it smart to expect this?
COMMENT to share your ideas. Or ask about this if you’re interested in hearing more from me. Maybe you’ve heard of real-deal Empath Empowerment®?
This is a big topic. If you’re interested, ask and I’ll answer. Otherwise, why make this article longer than it’s already going to be?
Spiritual Integration of Consciousness #5.
What Does It Mean, Spiritual Integration of Consciousness?
Earlier you read here:
Spiritual Integration of Consciousness is something you do with your awareness, your beautiful-and-sacred flow of consciousness.
But guess what? Consciousness is not something you can force. Rather, Spiritual Integration of Consciousness is a process that happens automatically, provided that you don’t mess it up.
How Does It Work, this Spiritual Integration of Consciousness?
Just as humans walk on two legs, living now, we move forward inwardly through a two-step process:
- Your Spiritual Technique Time enlivens spiritual awakening through Spiritual Expansion.
- Next, your regular human living — not doing any fancy dancing with your consciousness — can integrate this awakening through Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
Only one thing can mess up this process. What do you think would keep this two-step from happening?
When we allow this process to work properly, we evolve fast. Growing emotionally, spiritually, socially. As has happened to Energy Spirituality® students who’ve begun to use their full potential in life.
As can happen to you!
Spiritual Integration of Consciousness #7.
For This Integration, A New Spiritual Principle
Do 20 minutes a day of Spiritual Technique Time.
The formula is simple, yes? Perfect for a two-legged human. Do neither less nor more of that 20 daily minutes.
Spiritual Technique Time is each day’s important time for your consciousness, when you can set authentic growth in motion: And that means cumulative growth, too.
Learn more from the link just provided about that “Do 20 minutes a day.”
Say if this idea comes as a relief. Or if you don’t think it’s possible for you. Ask, ask, ask.
Spiritual Integration of Consciousness #8.
Why Haven’t You Heard of This Integration Thingie Before?
Look, this term of art is authentically new. Nonetheless, some of you readers may already be prepared to understand it.
And why? Because you know the truth what really happened with the Shift into the Age of Awakening.
If Not, No Worries. Here’s a Quick Download
A big planetary Shift happened on Dec. 21, 2012: ushering in the second consciousness era on Earth. What have been the two most common reactions?
Reaction 1. Scoff that anything important happened at all.
Reaction 2. Believing influencers who taught you myths with small truth value.
Have you’ve done one or both of these? Again, no worries. Now I’m linking you to a resource that can quickly update your knowledge of the Age of Awakening. Read this and you’ll gain a lot more clarity.
Afterward, COMMENT with any questions that occur to you.
Reaction 3. Here’s a refreshing alternative. You can read this perspective about what can help you to thrive in the Age of Awakening.

#9. Spiritual Integration of Consciousness IS What?
It’s a Term of Art from Energy Spirituality®
Contrary to weird ideas from AI summaries on Google, Energy Spirituality is not a group of people. Nor is this body of work . . . something that “spiritual people” automatically know. Grrrr.
Energy Spirituality® has a trademark because I filed for it under my name. Like all my 11 trademarks, approved by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office!
Sometimes new clients will tell me they’ve “done energy spirituality” before. But it turns out, they’ve “kind of done it.”
Hello, that doesn’t count. If you want the real deal, here’s a tip. Don’t believe imitators and trademark infringers.
Spiritual Integration of Consciousness #10
HOW Did Rose Rosetree Discover This Term of Art?
It happened on Sunday, May 18. Happened on the day before publishing this article, actually!
That morning, I was publishing some new comments at my personal blog, responses to my article about Spiritual Technique Time.
THEODORE wrote:
Rose, the distinction you’ve drawn here, between Spiritual Technique Time, and regular human living time – it’s very uncommon.
So many spiritual teachers emphasise primarily *addition* of spiritual techniques to our lives – (and the more time spent doing them, the better, is often the underlying message).
Aha! The implications of THEODORE’S words struck me immediately. Out went my plans for today. Instead, I spent today writing a dedicated blogpost announcing this new term of art.
You’ve been reading it, you thought leaders! Now you’re nearly finished.

What Does Spirituality Mean to You?
Additions start at Comment #23
Commenter: HORATIO

A fascinating question indeed, ALLISON!
As an Enlightenment Coach, I’ll give you a theoretical answer and then a realistic answer.
Theoretically, every human alive with normal mental functioning can benefit from the Spiritual Integration of Consciousness that’s available in the Age of Awakening.
But what does ” normal mental functioning” mean?
During the Age of Faith, that was simple. The person, say Gladys, wasn’t an alcoholic or a drug addict. She wasn’t developmentally delayed. She wasn’t obviously crazy.
But, after the Shift into the Age of Awakening, as you’re aware, every human adult has had a consciousness lifestyle. Most of these can vary, but there are a couple of dead-end consciousness lifestyles that amount to a life sentence.
Now for a realistic answer.
Is Spiritual Integration of Consciousness available for everyone living today or only those in certain Consciousness Lifestyles?
Let’s consider one consciousness lifestyle at a time.
#1. For Sam who lives in the consciousness lifestyle of Human-Based Spirituality, hello! He makes good contact with objective reality. Living in this self-actualizing consciousness lifestyle, he’s in an excellent position to benefit from Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
#2. For Gladys who lives in the consciousness lifestyle of The New Strong, hello!
She makes good contact with objective reality. Living in this self-actualizing consciousness lifestyle, ahe’s in an excellent position to benefit from Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
#3. For Sam who lives in the consciousness lifestyle of Traditional Enlightenment, hello!
He makes good contact with objective reality. Living in this self-actualized consciousness lifestyle, he’s in an excellent position to benefit from Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
#4. For Gladys who lives in the consciousness lifestyle of Age of Awakening Enlightenment, hello!
She makes good contact with objective reality. Living in this self-actualized consciousness lifestyle, she’s in an excellent position to benefit from Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
#5. For Sam who lives in the consciousness lifestyle of Spiritual Shutdown, hello!
He makes good contact with objective reality but he makes limited contact with subjective reality, whether his own or anybody elses.
Living in this consciousness lifestyle, Sam is stuck-stuck-stuck inwardly. Although his pride in being “perfect” may make him feel like he has no need for any personal growth.
In my experience, it’s rare for folks in Spiritual Shutdown to do Spiritual Technique Time, aside from set prayers that are like exercises in happy repetition.
For that reason, ALLISON, you’re right! It would be a mistake to assume that this Sam can benefit from Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
#6. For Gladys who lives in the consciousness lifestyle of Spiritual Addiction, hello!
She makes undependable contact with objective reality. Often she takes the Spiritual Bypass.
Living in this self-absorbed consciousness lifestyle, and likely doing way more than 20 Daily Minutes of Spiritual Technique Time, she’s in no position to benefit from Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
Not until she gets herself into a more self-actualizing consciousness lifestyle.
#7. For Sam, who lives in the consciousness lifestyle of Psychological Overwork, hello!
He makes undependable contact with objective reality. Often he takes the Psychological Bypass.
Living in this self-absorbed consciousness lifestyle, and likely doing way more than 20 Daily Minutes of Spiritual Technique Time, he’s in no position to benefit from Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
Not until he gets himself into a more self-actualizing consciousness lifestyle.
#6. For Gladys who lives in the consciousness lifestyle of Extreme Spiritual Addiction, hello!
She makes undependable contact with objective reality. Even worse, her aura is run by discarnate astral entities. (I know, this sounds like science fiction, and a novel I personally would not care to read. But there it is.)
Gladys is in no position to benefit from Spiritual Integration of Consciousness. Spiritual evolution is over for the rest of her life. Likewise, she won’t have any more authentic spiritual growth.
The good news is that the consciousness lifestyle of Extreme Spiritual Addiction ONLY lasts for the rest of that human’s lifetime.
Blog-Buddies, you may derive considerable comfort from this interview I published about a friend who came to life again, inwardly, after his lifetime was over:
“After Death in Extreme Spiritual Addiction”
My friend was back to being just himself. No more discarnate beings running him!
#7. It’s very similar for Sam, who lives in the Astrally Compromised Consciousness Lifestyle, hello!
Spiritual evolution and emotional growth are over for the rest of that incarnation. No Spiritual Technique Time can work, under those circumstances. And, therefore, this Sam is in no position to benefit from Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
Thanks, ALLISON, for asking this so-important question. :-)
Thank you, Rose! Yes your opinion did SHINE through. (I’ll call it shine instead of leak.) :)
I am thrilled with reading this blog.
You are so welcome, ANGELIQUE. Awe!
Consciousness lifestyles are really interesting. The consciousness lifestyle of Spiritual Addiction comes from doing more than twenty minutes of Spiritual Technique Time per day, is that correct?
Reading the phrase “undependable contact with objective reality” – this totally clicks for me. In my former spiritual group, we did way more than twenty minutes. I would say that objective reality was not valued and in fact was actively shunned in this group. It’s obvious to me now that this caused problems.
NEWBERG, yes!
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Thanks, Rose, for Comments #101-121. That helps!
ALLISON, you’re welcome. You have helped me too, since Spiritual Integration of Consciousness is still a new concept for me to understand and explore.
One statistic that I’m very aware of comes from this year’s annual estimate of consciousness lifestyles. Namely, that is our article here on “Consciousness Lifestyles 2025.”
According to that article:
In January 2025, only an estimated 14% of Americans had a self-actualizing consciousness lifestyle.
That means, we’ve been living either in the consciousness lifestyle of Spiritual Enlightenment, or the consciousness lifestyle of The New Strong, or the consciousness lifestyle of Human-Based Spirituality.
For us, that 14%, Spiritual Integration of Consciousness helps us to evolve more every day, to grow emotionally and spiritually, to give back to society in a constructive way, to make this life a big, huge success.
Not a success in terms of fame — since there’s not enough of that to go around. To quote an aria in “The Gondoliers”:
Far better, each of us can have a lifetime that is a big, huge success spiritually.
That’s between ourselves and our God, and maybe some like-minded family and friends.
If you’re reading this comment conversation, very likely, YOU are among the self-actualizing people who are given the bonus to your Spiritual Technique Time: Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
An automatic bonus for you, provided you don’t mess it up . . . by doing less or more than 20 Daily Minutes of Spiritual Technique Time.
I want you to know what an important contribution you’re making to your society, and to Collective Consciousness too.
Keep carrying that beautiful spiritual light of yours. You are making a positive difference. Including you, ALLISON!
Spiritual Integration of Consciousness
Congratulations on the new and official and term of art, Rose!
When we know a name that matches whatever on earth that thing is, our progress accelerates.
LUKE, thanks for noticing.
I have always found it beneficial to allow for Spiritual Integration of Consciousness to take its course during the day, by doing my Spiritual Technique Time usually within an hour from waking up.
Simple and elegant — what’s not to like, HORATIO?
Thanks for sharing this clarity.
I like this schema. Seems like a fun dance to me.
Spiritual growth and expansion, then integration.
What good is spiritual growth if it’s not integrated into your life, your humanity?
Seems obvious now that I ask myself this, but I’ve rarely (maybe never) heard this topic addressed. Seems like a blind spot for many spiritual teachers
Interesting observations there, MICHAEL.
I could go into so many different directions when agreeing with you.
This time I’ll note that, traditionally, spiritual teachers have been renunciates, not householders.
That’s especially true of spiritual teachers who, like me, aim to help their students move into Spiritual Enlightenment.
Hi Rose, this all sounds very interesting – what do you mean by fancy dancing in consciousness?
It sounds like it’s important to Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
Thanks for asking about this, DANIELLE. Fancy dancing in consciousness means showing off all the fancy tricks one can do by multi-tasking. It counts as Technique Time.
The problem is, it’s hard to do just 20 Daily Minutes of Technique Time if one is into fancy dancing, that showing off, that incessant Grounding and Shielding, etc.
Moreover, fancy dancing and multi-tasking in consciousness, etc., aren’t very satisfying to do.
They’re poor quality forms of Technique Time.
Lovely to revisit the video “Be the Light” (Comment #135). Thank you, Rose.
Reminds me to keep doing my best through the times that don’t get external validation, even though some times do.
You understand (as usual) ALLISON.
The following two links might prove helpful to the rest of you Blog-Buddies:
* Learn to seek Internal Validation, not only External Validation (which tends to be emphasized in today’s mainstream). This link takes you to an educational article about that.
Internal Validation is especially important because many of you readers of this blog are thought leaders. Did you know, we thought leaders need to use Internal Validation. Cliches and popular ideas in the mainstream reward those who repeat the latest fads; you won’t get that much External Validation for ideas that are new.
* Here’s your one-click shortcut to the YouTube video “Be the Light” — less scrolling for you, more fun time.
Incidentally, ALLISON and other Blog-Buddies, when I first uploaded these YouTube videos, ha! I didn’t allow comments. NOW I DO.
You see, I thought it would take too long for me to check my videos regularly, and I wanted to be able to respond to comments on YouTube.
This year I learned that I will receive email notifications, so I don’t have to go on YouTube patrol. Please THUMBS UP and Comment whenever you see any of my videos, even the older ones. Live and learn!
Thank you for the article, Rose. It’s exciting to read about new ideas!
I have a question about the second step in the two-step process, after Spiritual Technique Time –
do you mean that anything we do in our regular human lives can integrate awakening through Spiritual Integration of Consciousness, like washing the dishes or folding laundry?
Welcome, AGGIE, to the Energy Spirituality® Blog.
You have asked an important question, too. Thank you so much.
About this idea: ” anything we do in our regular human lives can integrate awakening through Spiritual Integration of Consciousness”
It’s correct as far as it goes, but is not complete enough. So that it could be misleading.
Let me lead you, and readers, to this by taking one step at a time.
Recently there was an interesting example of incomplete info — and from an alleged expert — at our article on, “Grounding Yourself Is a Waste of Your Time.“
A surpremely confident expert on Grounding created a YouTube video where he proclaimed — with a straight face — that if we went outdoors, no matter what we did, that would give a person “Grounding.”
As I recall, he even called this a technique.
Now let’s turn to the topic of this blogpost. It goes into some detail about what “Spiritual Integration of Consciousness” is and how it works.
Key points, AGGIE, related to your question, are the following.
#1. “Spiritual Integration of Consciousness” is something that didn’t exist, in this way, until the Shift into the Age of Awakening.
#2. Before then, during the Age of Faith, it was enough to expand-expand-expand our awareness.
Like, the more Spiritual Technique Time, the better.
#3. Now, during the Age of Awakening, Spiritual Technique Time has become more potent, more powerful, compared to during the Age of Faith. Hence the simple motto for evolving as fast as possible now:
#4. During our waking hours, provided that we have done our 20 Daily Minutes of Spiritual Technique Time, Tops, yes!
Every activity we do that day, for as long as we’re awake, can serve to integrate that day’s spiritual expansion. PROVIDED that we first have done some or all of that day’s Spiritual Technique Time.
To go into more detail, inspired by your question, AGGIE, let’s suppose that this Tuesday you are doing:
* 10 minutes of Spiritual Technique Time early in your day,
* And the other 10 minutes of Spiritual Technique Time after lunch.
* BEFORE that first 10 minutes of Spiritual Technique Time early in your day, nothing you do in your regular human life can integrate spiritual expansion through Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
Why not? Because you have nothing to integrate. Make sense?
* AFTER that first 10 minutes of Spiritual Technique Time early in your day, up to a point, everything you do in your regular human life can integrate spiritual expansion through Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
Up to which point?
Once you have integrated all your spiritual expansion from that 10 minutes of Spiritual Technique Time, you have nothing more to integrate, do you?
* AFTER that you do your second 10 minutes of Spiritual Technique Time after lunch, you’ll automatically begin the process of Spiritual Integration of Consciousness.
I’m about to add something a little technical next, AGGIE. If it’s too technical for you, a newbie at commenting here, just keep on scrolling through this blog, or whatever.
But you, and many others at this blog may benefit quite a bit from this next technical point.
In the language you used in your question, AGGIE, this startled me — not that you did anything wrong or even rude.
You readers would be wise to avoid throwing out the term “awakening” or even “spiritual awakening.”
I do, sometimes, judiciously, use the term “spiritual awakening.” But why and when? I’ll let you in on a secret.
As an Enlightenment Coach I LOATHE the term “Spiritual Awakening.” Even more so, the term “Awakening.”
Yet I sometimes use the term “Spiritual Awakening” when defining the field of Energy Spirituality. How come?
Googling to the rescue.
How many hits right now on my Google for these next terms?
Spiritual ENLIGHTENMENT gets 4.3 MILLION hits on my Google.
Spiritual AWAKENING gets 20.8 MILLIONxx hits on my Google.
By all means, ask yourself, each of you, why is Spiritual AWAKENING 5 times more popular than Spiritual ENLIGHTENMENT?
To put it bluntly: Ignorant, dopey things that people write about spiritual awakening are even more foolish and unhelpful than confused, confusing things that people write about Spiritual Enlightenment.
I’ll use it under certain conditions in order to appeal to people who know very little about Spiritual Enlightenment and it feels friendlier to them, less intimidating, to substitute spiritual awakening.
If I might, I warn all of you to avoid using the term spiritual awakening — and question when and where you see it used.
It’s like my teaching Gladys a skill to cocreate with God, and Gladys informs me:
Thanks for Comments #163-165, Rose.
I didn’t understand the merit of doing the Spiritual Technique Time early in my day, or at least part of it early in my day, until you said that.
Got it, now!
This is an educational blog, ALLISON, and you are a strandout learner.
