Quick History of “Spiritual Enlightenment Made Practical”

Initially I began this blog post as my personal list of people in spiritual Enlightenment.

Together we celebrated public figures in Enlightenment. Since by 2010 I had developed skills for “Enlightenment Validation.”

Back in 2010 — and to this day — it was unique to validate Spiritual Enlightenment in blog comments.

• Imagine, finding Spiritual Enlightenment because that’s what their auras show.
• Not because they are famous or pretty, talented or otherwise amazing as human beings.
• Or they “Look like somebody in Enlightenment.”

After a couple of years at this blogpost, guess what? As the Founder of Energy Spirituality, and a teacher of Energetic Literacy, yes! I  officially added the title of “Enlightenment Teacher.” Guiding my clients with an interest in attaining Enlightenment.

Spiritual Enlightenment Made Practical… for Our First 12 Years

Until December 29, 2022, this blogpost revolved around your Enlightenment nominations. At first, I responded with a YES or NO.

After the Shift into the Age of Awakening, however, hello!  Consciousness lifestyles began to develop.

In terms of how human beings were living, day to day, the human experience of consciousness no longer involved…

EITHER Regular Human with Normal Mental Functioning

OR Spiritual Enlightenment.

Therefore, as the Age of Awakening progressed, this list developed more nuance. We began to share consciousness lifestyle research.

Now, after the first decade of the Age of Awakening, this list is morphing again. Now, I’ll be answering your questions about Spiritual Enlightenment. Also, on occasion I’ll be sharing research that I choose to do, regarding public figures’ consciousness lifestyle.

Our Blogging Community Took a Leadership Role in Discerning Consciousness Lifestyles

What a historic change we’ve lived through, Blog-Buddies! Witness:

Starting in 2021, I began to publish an annual survey into consciousness lifestyles.

Changes happened so fast, my findings were significantly different just one year later.

In case you’ve wondered, why bother with this little one-person blogpost? Won’t I learn better from big commercial websites like mindbodygreen.com?

I challenge you to find any — any — other blogpost with equally sophisticated research into how human consciousness has been changing. Since the Shift, mostly crickets! Or crazy-talk.

You see, ever since the Shift, it became a concern:

Is it wise to study with somebody only if that person is in Enlightenment? Of course not.

Enlightenment isn’t necessary — unless a teacher claims to have it. But otherwise? Not so important.

Regarding Enlightenment, Let’s Not Play Coy 

In order for us to benefit from Spiritual Enlightenment Made Practical, let’s get real. None of the “Oooh, how can we tell?” Every expert about spiritual awakening or Enlightenment HAS to be able to tell. Otherwise, in my view:

• It’s time to either gain good skills for discerning Enlightenment. All the way down to what’s really happening in that person’s chakra databanks!
• Or else find a new line of work. Seriously!

Next, what does it mean when I note that a person’s state of consciousness qualifies as living in Enlightenment? Is it an endorsement of that person’s healing services, meditation techniques, or other work? Of course not. Use your regular, human consumer smarts. Please!

Also note *** I’ve put an asterisk *** by the names of those on the list I have personally met or talked to by phone. “Darshan” is the traditional name for being in the physical presence of a person who lives in Enlightenment. Being an English speaker, I call it “auric modeling.”

Your Practical Update on Dec. 2, 2024

Please note that when I have added people to this list, this is a convenience for finding names that matter to you. However, this handy list does not tell you which date or which blogpost was the one where I researched that particular person.

• Sometimes a person will move into Spiritual Enlightenment AFTER that person wrote a book, or gave a talk, etc.
• Sadly, sometimes a person move into Spiritual Enlightenment — sigh! — that individual LATER moves out of Enlightenment.

What, then, is the very best way for you to know about a person’s consciousness lifestyle? Learn skills for Stage 3 Energetic Literacy. After you’ve become fluent, reading chakra databanks, book a session with me so that I can mentor you into researching consciousness lifestyles.

Then you can find a photo or take a screenshot about anybody you choose, and there will likely be a date attached.

When I began these lists, it was still the Age of Faith. I had no idea that, after the Shift into the Age of Awakening, different consciousness lifestyles would develop. Nor did I appreciate how common it would be for people who had been in Spiritual Enlightenment — either kind, Age of Awakening Enlightenment or Traditional Enlightenment — to MOVE FROM Enlightenment to Extreme Spiritual Addiction or other consciousness lifestyles. That is the truth, though.

Incidentally . . .

One Extra Way to Benefit from this Alphabetical Enlightenment List

Wonderful though it is to have any increase of spiritual awakening, awakening does not mean the same thing as spiritual Enlightenment. At least, to me. (How come? See What is the difference between Awakening and Enlightenment? )

My hope is that this book can help you to appreciate the importance of this difference. A person can live in either Age of Awakening Enlightenment or else Traditional Enlightenment.

On the other hand, individuals who have had one or more experiences of Spiritual Awakening may be living in any of these consciousness lifestyles:

1. Human-Based Spirituality
2. Spiritual Shutdown
3. Psychological Overwork
4. Spiritual Addiction
5. Extreme Spiritual Addiction

Personally, I have facilitated many Energy Spirituality sessions for clients who sought assistance or validation after a beautiful experience of Spiritual Awakening. Not a single one of them (so far) was actually in Enlightenment. However, those sessions provided really useful information to those clients. If you’re not sure if you are in Enlightenment or not, I encourage you to book a personal session so that I can help you to keep progressing.

Read details about these consciousness lifestyles at the link just provided. If you’re curious enough to be reading this list, don’t guess, imagining that you will figure this out from context. Researching consciousness lifestyles is one of the jobs of a professional Enlightenment Teacher. If you care about living in Enlightenment, you’d be wise to take this kind of knowledge seriously.

You see, Blog-Buddies, Spiritual Awakening is an experience. Not a consciousness lifestyle.

How I Evaluate Spiritual Enlightenment

For this Enlightenment Teacher, what matters? I research chakra databanks of the person. Will I validate Spiritual Enlightenment or not?

In my view, researching the consciousness of a spiritual teacher, or other person who might be living in Enlightenment, requires good skills of energetic literacy. Plus, it takes practice and dedication to develop the energetic literacy specialty of researching Spiritual Enlightenment.

Important to know: Since I published this list I encountered a highly respected Enlightenment List by Shawn Nevins. He offers a rating system, with stars. Regarding his criteria, they appear to involve what matches his own beliefs, plus who is popular.

All this seems very rigorous, and I find his writing charming. However, I have researched the consciousness lifetyles of many on his list, so highly rated! See the research at “Enlightenment Teacher OR Coach OR Guide.” Doing this research, nearly none of his vaunted Enlightenment Teachers were anywhere close to Enlightenment, and some had effectively crippled themselves.

I would add, it seems to me that Shawn is very locked into valuing today’s “Enlightenment Establishment.” Unfortunately, the skills and knowledge of these vaunted experts are somewhat obsolete, now that all of us are living in the Age of Awakening, not the Age of Faith.

My prediction is, deeper into the Age of Awakening, most teachings of the Enlightenment Establishment will go the way of the dodo.

Since I published this blogpost, every single day I have been researching other public figures. Mostly those who give interviews on my favorite shows broadcast over MSNBC.

Very likely I’ve spent upwards of 10 hours. Yet this research has been fascinating, since an estimate 1 out of every 3 folks I’ve researched is in Age of Awakening Enlightenment.

My next way of honoring this extraordinary happening, so many politically minded people now living in Enlightenment! My next steps will involve:

1. Adding one new person at a time to this list.
2. Plus adding a comment for each one. Below this main article, that is.
3. Also cross-referencing this for this blog’s Alphabetical Enlightenment List.
4. Editing our article dedicated to acknowledging Spiritual Enlightenment, “Spiritual Enlightenment Made Practical.” So as to include each new person within the main body of the article.
5. Finally, adding a comment that names this new addition to our list. That’s one more window open. Just for commenting at “Spiritual Enlightenment Made Practical.”
