First of All, Choose Real-Deal Empath Empowerment
Back when I published the first book in English for empaths, making this choice wasn’t a problem. When exactly? In 2001. At the time, no system was in print for helping any empath, period. That changed with my publication of Empowered by Empathy.
Likewise, for many years after I trademarked Empath Empowerment®, this was THE only trademarked system available to help empaths. A system based on making subtle, effortless changes to how you use your consciousness, your awareness while awake.
To this day, to my knowledge, no other empath teacher has come close to duplicating this system. They just copied the name.
You see, over the years, folks stepped up to teach empaths with psychological ideas, ideas from psychic development and, eventually, a hodgepodge of New Age ideas that were supposed to be spiritual.
Copying. But Not Equalling
Look, I think it’s great when any teacher of empaths manages to develop true innovation. Then, by all means, trademark that system. (Not many have managed that, actually.) Sure, publish all the books you like.
But calling YOUR empath teaching by the name Rose Rosetree developed? Why on earth call that “Empath Empowerment.”
Yet doing exactly that has becomes crazy popular.
Currently, Amazon.com sells over 10 THOUSAND books for empaths.
Yep, that’s new. Earlier this year it was only 9 THOUSAND.
Also Amazon sells 323 so-called “Empath Empowerment” books.
For that reason, finding the genuine article, Real Deal Empath Empowerment? Sure can be tricky now.

Avoid “Experts” Who Write for Both “Empaths and HSPs“
Apples and oranges, folks!
- 1 in 20 people is an empath, a Highly-Highly Sensitive Person.
- While 1 in 5 people is a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP).
How can you trust any teacher who keeps mixing them up? Very rarely, I teach Sensitivity Skills that can help both HSPs and empaths. Teaching this particular topic separately. Again very rarely. In addition to teaching (mainly) empaths, I’m simultaneously developing other leading-edge skills of Energy Spirituality™.
On rare occasions, it could be okay to teach something to both HSPs and empaths.
But what about those who constantly lump both (very different) groups of people together?
How much integrity there? Yet some “experts” must be doing exactly that. Because lookee here:
How Many Hits on HSPs and Empaths?
At the time of writing this blogpost, more than HALF A MILLION results. Some 547,000 hits, to be precise.
Might I Suggest?
If you’re an empath, don’t study with any “expert” who routinely lumps together apples and oranges. After all, when’s the last time you baked yourself a tasty orange pie?

In my books, I don’t over-promise. (In considerable contrast to some of the other books published now for empaths. You can sample some of the wild claims being made by some empath “EXPERTS” by reading this related blogpost, actually.)

That Search Inside the Book is great, isn’t it? A lot of time I never have to buy any book at all. I just go in and grab the good parts.
Back to your empath empowerment books, I like that word quick. I don’t have all day to learn something like this.
Why didn’t you start with the quick one?
If I wasn’t such a nice person and you seem like a nice person too, I would say this right off the bat. It’s fairly obvious it is to me how this is your one real book for empaths. The others are just padding.
If you dare to print my question I’ll be amazed. Are you going to admit it?
CHEAP and PROUD, why wouldn’t I publish your ideas? They reflect more about your priorities than Empath Empowerment®.

We had a session and you told me I was an empath. But you also said that I had problems that didn’t involve being an empath.
Then you moved out psychic coercion from my aura and you gave me a recording to take home and use. And you taught me Golden Equations to empower me extra.
This was so helpful, I can’t put it into words. Except I definitely can say thank you for that, Rose!
Is it a common thing that a person believes that a bunch of problems come from being an empath and really very different problems could be involved?

Rose, most of your book reviews are rave reviews, five stars. There are so few reviews though, compared to other empath writers.
I want to go into details about part of this, if that’s ok.
Judith Ortloff has kinda stolen your trademarked term Empath Empowerment(R). She’s published a couple of things called “Empath’s Empowerment”.
I want to give the example of Orloff’s book called “The Empath’s Empowerment Journal: Your Self-Care Companion”. This has 493 reviews.

Enjoy that exciting feeling of superiority for as long as you like, but you might want to know this, KAREN. Human beings, including you and me, receive karma for everything we say and do, and karma for slinging around contempt in this fashion will likely not be enjoyable.

Doing this displays a lack of integrity or knowledge, or both, on part of the authors.
Empaths and Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs) are different. Those names are very significant. In my view, any “expert” worth the name would never routinely lump both groups of people together.
