Question 1. What IS an Empath?
Nobody has asked this lately when I’ve blogged. Instead, you readers have asked more advanced questions, like those that I plan to answer in this article. Still, some of you may not be so sure what an empath even is. A lot of empath teaching with Low Truth Value has taken over mainstream culture.

Quickly then, as the founder of Empath Empowerment®, here’s my definition of what an empath really is.

Now Let’s Add Two More Essential Definitions
Question 2. What Is an “UNskilled Empath Merge”?
Unskilled empaths do something countless times a day. In Empath Empowerment®, this is known as an UNskilled Empath Merge. It’s done with consciousness. Often the unskilled empath has no conscious idea this is happening.
Know it or not, every UNskilled Empath Merge deposits astral-level garbage into the empath’s aura. It’s called “Imported STUFF.”
Imported STUFF in the empath’s aura stays put, causing subconscious and conscious confusion. It remains until (and unless) the unskilled empath learns how to fix this problem. Including skill to remove all Imported STUFF. Skilled Empaths also learn how to prevent getting Imported STUFF in the first place.
Finally, UNskilled Empath Merges are a totally unreliable way of getting information about anyone.

Answer A Is Obvious
Although Not Physically Obvious
Every adult with normal mental functioning can develop good skills of energetic literacy. Can do AURA READING.
Only Skilled Empaths — born empaths who have become Skilled Empaths — can do SKILLED EMPATH MERGE.
Of Course, Being an Empath Doesn’t Show Physically
So don’t look for that special indigo freckle beneath the person’s left eyebrow. (Joke!)
How can you tell whether or not you’re an empath? The easiest way is to have a personal session with me. Bring any topics.
Then, early in that session, ask me to tell you whether or not you’re an empath. I can have a professional opinion about that. Accordingly, I’ll take a few minutes to research the answer to your question, then tell you about your kind of sensitivity for this lifetime.
These days I’ll be able to give you your score on the Energy Spirituality SENSITIVITY SCALE. It’s not as though you’re only an empath or an HSP, or else you’re a nothing!
Answer B. When to Choose AURA READING
Over Skilled Empath Merge
Always, it’s wise to begin by facilitating an aura reading. Read several chakra databanks on the person. Or even research one of our highly informative chakra databank arrays.
Why take the precaution of first reading that person’s aura in some detail? Since doing a Skilled Empath Merge always is very personal. Always feels very personal.
Unless that Discovery Person is, at least, pleasant? For sure, I won’t go there, not into a Skilled Empath Merge.
Answer C. Why Else to Choose an AURA READING
Over Doing Skilled Empath Merge?
Here I’m going to bring my perspective as an Enlightenment Coach for the Age of Awakening. That first link defined it.
Now, how about my standing to write for you as an Enlightenment Coach? This link will convince a reasonable person like you, surely.
That said, what is the single most important tip I can give to those of you who wish to grow emotionally and evolve spiritually? Do 20 Daily Minutes of Spiritual Technique Time, Tops.
Answer D. When NOT to Choose AURA READING Either
Only you can decide if you wish to read anybody’s aura. Sometimes I won’t necessarily facilitate an aura reading, either. Not if that would feel like playing with fire.
For example, this morning (April 13) I just published a Monday blogpost: “Alex Ferrari, Part 3. Integrity Chakra Databanks.” Reading Alex’s chakra databanks was fine. I had no problem with that. Although, as you can see if you read that article, what “totally creeped me out”?
Checking a podcast link before publishing that article, for 2 seconds I watched Psychic and Channeler Sheila Gillette.
It totally creeped me out: Not just the message but the overwhelmingly astral quality of this psychic’s presence. If I were to guess, based on having rigorously researched many hundreds of people’s consciousness lifestyles, I’d peg this as the consciousness lifestyle of Extreme Spiritual Addiction. With very LOW ASTRAL beings.
No way would I read that woman’s aura. When we use the system of Aura Reading Through All Your Senses®, we’re protected. But not if we disregard our perfectly good, human, common sense.

Here I’m going to bring my perspective as an Enlightenment Coach for the Age of Awakening.
Unless you like the Discovery Person, and feel comfortable doing an aura reading, no need to have the depth experience of doing a Skilled Empath Merge.
For practical purposes, researching chakra databanks through your energetic literacy skills is plenty.
Answer F. Why Choose a Skilled Empath Merge Over Doing
Only a Little Precautionary Aura Reading?
For inspiration.
For information.
And also because every aura reading, with at least Stage 3 Energetic Literacy, can help you to grow spiritually. That’s due to the PROCESS of quality aura reading.
However, Skilled Empath Merge can help you to grow even more, spiritually.
