Distinguishing OBJECTIVE Reality from SUBJECTIVE Reality

How, Exactly, Does this Pertain to WISDOM?

When you think about it, Blog-Buddies, wisdom has certain requirements. They include:

  1. Knowing what objective reality is.
  2. Knowing what subjective reality is.
  3. And using one’s God-given ability to know the difference.

Many of us have come to believe, through pop psychology, that wisdom is all about (subjective) emotions.

In reality, that’s false. Wisdom requires that we pay attention to what actually happens. Who does what? Where? When.

Interpretations must be grounded in social reality for them to count as wisdom. For example, what a mess we create in society when we enshrine vague concepts of shame. Yet we seldom (or never) apply the concept of stigma.

COMMENT below if you have any reaction to the above-linked article. It’s by the brilliant new opinion writer for the New York Times, Tressie McMillan Cottom.

Creativity to Solve Problems

How, Exactly, Does this Pertain to WISDOM?

Intelligence or, even wisdom, can become a game for its own sake. Like people who can debate questions like “How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?”

Meanwhile, people are suffering. And there’s an urgent need to solve problems now.

In order to accomplish useful problem-solving, we need the desire to do so. Following that, can we muster up sufficient creativity to make a positive difference?

Seems to me, wise people can.

Assessing Choices in Objective Reality

How, Exactly, Does this Pertain to WISDOM?

In practical life, wisdom does involve assessment. Actively making choices.

To be blunt, that’s a power move.

Unless a person can summon up personal power, what will be done with any potential wisdom.

Sadly, “potential” that wisdom remains. Not real.

Quite often I facilitate sessions of Energy Spirituality™ to help clients make better use of their power. Here’s one more incentive: Making your potential wisdom sticky. Effective. Real.

COMMENT below if you have any questions or stories about that, Blog-Buddies.

Balancing Emotional Abilities with My Other Abilities

How, Exactly, Does this Pertain to WISDOM?

One word: Hamlet.

Because Shakespeare’s famous hero, famous for (subjective soliloquies) was the star of a TRAGEDY. Sidelined by his poignant emotions and inner confusions, Hamlet was over-subjective. Great for a tragedy! However this lack of balance isn’t so great for effectively leading one’s life.

This particular Heart Chakra databank is essential for making wisdom work in the world.

Balancing Interpersonal Communication with My Other Abilities

How, Exactly, Does this Pertain to WISDOM?

In reality, private wisdom, like a private joke, helps nobody.

By contrast, any person worthy of being called wise… Such a person must necessarily be able to communicate with other people.

For example, how about the famous character of Mr. Bennet? If you’re familiar with “Pride and Prejudice,” you know how much his self-absorbed wisdom helped others. (Feel free to ask if you’d like more details.)

No wonder, I consider this Throat Chakra Databank to be an essential component of wisdom.

Spiritual Sense of Self During Conflict

How, Exactly, Does this Pertain to WISDOM?

Let’s face it. Often the need for wisdom arises during unpleasant, messy circumstances, conflict. Whether your own personal conflict or else a disagreement that only involves others. Especially challenging if you care about that other person caught up in the mess.

Yet conflict isn’t comfortable for most human beings. Maybe that’s why otherwise clever people drop any real wisdom they might have available: If upset about conflict, what can they do quite automatically?

By contrast, those who are truly wise? Hello! They can apply wisdom even — and especially — during tumultuous times.

Sure, ask in COMMENTS below if you think I’m talking about seeming calm. Or relaxed. Or poised.

Granted, all these social qualities are fashionable today. Yet, do they bear any relationship to wisdom?

Likewise, “grace under pressure.” Does this currently mean “wisdom” to you? Let us know what you think about this.

Connection to Collective Consciousness Pressures to Be Popular

How, Exactly, Does this Pertain to WISDOM?

Ever feel pressure to be popular? Consciously, from time to time, you probably have.

However, how about subconscious pressure to be popular?

Like most Crown Chakra databanks, this one is subconsciously tricky. “Connection to Collective Consciousness Pressures to Be Popular”? Many people are so swept away by pressures in Collective Consciousness, they no longer think for themselves very well.

By contrast, what do I find when I read chakra databanks of folks in Age of Awakening Enlightenment? Generally speaking, that individual is NOT impacted by any pulls-and-pushes in Crown Chakra Databanks.

For more about that, COMMENT below. One exception to this general rule might interest you. Especially if you’re wondering what to expect if some day you were to receive Enlightenment Validation.

In Conclusion

What do you think I’ve left out? COMMENT below and share your ideas.

For instance:

  1. Do you think empaths have greater wisdom than others?
  2. Might being a very caring person mean that you’ll have extra wisdom?
  3. How about psychics? Do you assume that psychics gain important wisdom through their connection to spirits?
  4. Regarding religion, does being “saved” mean that a person can gain wisdom easily? Such ask asking Jesus what to do! In other ways can religion bring wisdom?
  5. Finally, many of you regular readers here are interested in Spiritual Enlightenment. Either you’re aiming for spiritual awakening etc. Or some of you have already had Enlightenment validated by this spiritual teacher. Have you assumed that Enlightenment means all-wise?

Thank you for developing this new array of chakra databanks. Wisdom matters so much to me.

Sweet of you, CLAUDIA. One thing the two of us share is valuing truth, wisdom, authentic spiritual growth.

    Anna Patricia says:

Thank you for sharing that column by Tressie McMillan Cottom.

The last paragraph was especially awesome to me. She put into words something that I had touched on in my mind recently. I don’t want to spoil the article by quoting the final paragraph. It’s really worth a read for her wisdom.

    Anna Patricia says:

This is such a powerful Chakra Databank Array. Thanks, Rose.

  5. 5

ANNA PATRICIA, you’re welcome. I’d agree. Tressie McMillan Cottom is a wise one, indeed.

What a mess we create in society when we enshrine vague concepts of shame! Yet we seldom (or never) apply the concept of stigma.

  6. 6

That link just provided will take you to her column about shame and stigma. Especially notable, I’d agree, is that final paragraph.

Since Cottom’s opinion piece was published, on April 12, 2022, much has happened in American political life. Including so many crazed shootings of school children with assualt rifles… and a GOP that still refuses to ban these guns or assault background checks.

  7. 7

Talk about the absence of stigma!

On the topic of refusing to take a stand on gun safety, I heard some Republican politican or other say something that gave me such a jolt. It was a video clip where this man was interviewed by a reporter. He said something like this:

  8. 8

“We didn’t have problems with these shootings while we still had prayer in schools.”

Unbelievable, yet believable! What this fool of a politician didn’t seem to know is that the Supreme Court school ruled against school prayer in 1962. And why?

  9. 9

Because school-sponsored prayer in public schools violated the establishment clause of the First Amendment. That’s why.

Meanwhile, that unwise politician didn’t know that assault rifles weren’t on the street back then, in 1962.

  10. 10

Let’s hope that today’s activist group of religious fanatics who now, as justices have lifetime appointments and, thus, have a “bulletproof” majority in the Supreme Counrt…

Let’s hope they don’t decide to overturn that well established precedent as well, in their continued mockery of that bedrock judicial principle of stare decisis.

Rose, I’m a big fan of the chakra databank arrays you create including this new one for wisdom.

I’m curious about what you mention in #7. Crown Chakra Databank for Connection to Collective Consciousness Pressures to Be Popular.

    Gabrielle G. says:

“By contrast, what do I find when I read chakra databanks of folks in Age of Awakening Enlightenment? Generally speaking, that individual is NOT impacted by any pulls-and-pushes in Crown Chakra Databanks.”

What’s the one exception to this general rule?

  13. 13

GABRIELLE G., here’s the exception — when that person in Age of Awakening Enlightenment feels upset.

One example is feeling upset because of human-type things that happen in objective reality; for instance, having to put down an elderly cat. Human problems upset human beings, including those of us who happen to live in Age of Awakening Enlightenment.

  14. 14

Another example is feeling upset due to STUFF stuck in the person’s aura.

Yes, contrary to what I was taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi when I was one of his teachers, when I believed everything that he said. Folks living in Spiritual Enlightenment can definitely have STUFF stuck in their auras, just not enough STUFF to disallow their being given Enlightenment anyway.

  15. 15

So, GABRIELLE and other Blog-Buddies, there I’ll be… facilitating a session of Energy Spirituality ENERGY HEALING.

Suppose that my client Sam is in Spiritual Enlightenment and we’ll be doing the healing centerpiece of Causational BELIEF Transformation. (At the link just provided, scroll down to the colorful box, for details about this specialty of Energy Spirituality™.)

  16. 16

During that session I’ll typically learn what happens to one of my client’s Crown Chakra Databanks, when there’s a flareup of that particular Causational Belief that we’re transforming in the session.

So there’s a second example, responding to your excellent question, GABRIELLE.

  17. 17

Of special interest to the wisdom seekers among you, today I published an aura profile of a famous influencer, exploring five of these Wisdom Chakra Databanks.

Come take a look, and then by all means COMMENT there if you find the research surprising in any way.

    Adrian says:

In my two jobs I am constantly making decisions for the welfare of others, with many financial implications. I would be very curious as to how this Chakra Databank is doing.

  21. 21
    Adrian says:

Although I have been growing in terms of using my power, I’m sure there is more I can learn.

Also, I’d like to note – many of those factors that inform my decisions are constantly changing as well, as so – that requires a sort of vigilance? diligence when it comes to assessing my choices.

  22. 22

Agreed, ADRIAN. Vigilance and diligence, both, become easier when Wisdom Chakra Databanks are doing well.

  23. 23
    Adrian says:

In terms of the Wisdom Chakra Databanks #7. Crown Chakra Databank for…Spiritual Sense of Self During Conflict

I don’t think you are talking about seeming calm. Or relaxed. Or poised.

  24. 24

    You’re so right, ADRIAN.

In my understanding, the popular tropes about excellent tend to be cliches with millions of hits. They have little to do with the unique, nuanced, reality that is present in reading any of your chakra databanks, at any time.

  25. 25

Yet one more reason to learn Stage 3 Energetic Literacy — or to book a session of Energy Spirituality ENERGY READING: You’ll leave truisms and cliches in the dust.

    Where they belong.

  26. 26
    Adrian says:

    But that the symbol?

The archetype of wisdom in entertainment, that has some strong influence. For example, in Harry Potter the symbol of wisdom Dumbledore is the epitome of wisdom, he has the final word.

  27. 27
    Adrian says:

And is almost always calm and poised.

I think that, along with other things in collective consciousness, is my go- to for imagining someone wise.

  28. 28

ADRIAN, to begin responding with your Comment #27, why imagine anyone who is supposed to be wise?

Why not develop your own wisdom, as you’ve been doing for years? Including when you crossed the threshold into Age of Awakening Enlightenment!

  29. 29

As for your imagery around Rowling’s magnificent character, Albus Dumbledore, his portrayal in Harry Potter books was far more nuanced and interesting (to me, at least) compared to the Dumbledore in those movies.

Both were excellent, don’t get me wrong.

  30. 30

Richard Harris did a magnificent job as the screen version of Dumbledore — and I was fascinated to read the article I’ll link you to, regarding how Harris turned down the role of Gandalf so he could play Dumbledore, both HOW he turned down the Gandalf role and WHY.

  31. 31

But Rowling was a superb writer for all of the Harry Potter series, so she imbued the Head of Hogwarts with a garden of impressive qualities.

Whereas movie roles can’t equal the nuance of really good writing. Ultimately, it’s SHOW business.

  32. 32

What I appreciate most about this series of comments from you, ADRIAN, is your modern-day pursuit of wisdom. Maybe that’s not so fashionable, among the gimmicky-and-viral offerings that predominate now in pop culture, but the search for wisdom can bring a deep spiritual blessing to the wisdom seeker.

Thanks for what you’ve shared here.
