Your 9th Anniversary of the Shift. Let me help you to see it through the eyes of wonder.
Your 9th Anniversary of the Shift into the Age of Awakening? It’s today.
Oh yes!
Put on Your Eyes of Wonder
‘Tis the season for wonder and joy. Even for us, the responsible adults. Really, we don’t have to be kids… In order allow ourselves a bit of awe.
And what deserves your wonder these days? Merely an anniversary of worldwide-and-historic significance!
Celebrate along with me, Blog-Buddies. Because all week — and beyond — we can find spiritual inspiration. Giving credit where credit is due. Because this is when to celebrate the 9th Anniversary of the Shift into the Age of Awakening. That main anniversary date will, of course, be tomorrow: December 21st.
Altogether You’ve Been Given 9 Amazing Gifts
Only these gifts must be unwrapped. That is, actively used. You’ve got to meet them halfway.
In order to benefit from a single one of these amazing gifts, you must do your part. And then you’ll enjoy something… well… amazing.
Keep reading to see what I mean.
For example, would anybody here like to COMMENT by sharing your ideas: What happened on 12/21/12?
- Exactly what was “The Shift” into the Age of Awakening?
- While we’re at it, why do you think the Shift has received so little coverage in the media?
In a COMMENT below I’ll give you a link to one magazine article on this topic. Amazingly — though not in a good way — that’s the only such article I’ve seen in magazines, on TV talk shows, etc.
Amazing Gift 1 to Celebrate: Your New Freedom
Celebrate Your 9th Anniversary of the Shift into the Age of Awakening
Granted this new freedom is subtle. It involves your consciousness.
Yet nothing about your inner life could be more significant. You’ve been given a New Vibrational Freedom for positioning your consciousness.
Unfortunately, most people are squandering this on Energy Talk. As if that really helped anything!
We can do better. For instance, we can parlay that New Vibrational Freedom into living The New Strong. Doing that… has helped people like you.
Amazing Gift 2 to Celebrate: Accelerated Personal Growth
Celebrate Your 9th Anniversary of the Shift into the Age of Awakening
Yours for the claiming, Blog-Buddies. If you’re seeking emotional growth, personal growth, self-actualization?
Congratulations. You’ve come to the right planet: Earth School, now that we’re living in the Age of Awakening!
Just avoid cult-like side trips, like Fifth Dimensional Nonsense. Since these can stall your personal growth. Quite opposite to what the cult leaders promise.
Amazing Gift 3 to Celebrate: Spiritual Awakening
Celebrate Your 9th Anniversary of the Shift into the Age of Awakening
Unless you live in a cave… Make that a cave that’s not part of an ashram… Surely you’ve heard plenty of people talking about their spiritual awakening.
Experience like that comes far easier now. Only every wise spiritual seeker requires a teacher. Until you find one to help you make use of your sweet experiences, you can grow more and more confused. Instead of growing closer and closer to Spiritual Enlightenment.
Amazing Gift 4 to Celebrate: Effortlessness
Celebrate Your 9th Anniversary of the Shift into the Age of Awakening
Definitely I don’t mean effortless at everything. For instance, did a fine money tree begin growing in your front yard on 12/21/12?
Didn’t happen to me, either.
However, from a spiritual perspective, we’ve received something even more enriching. No longer does spiritual growth, or academic learning, or emotional growth… have to involve the old Age of Faith standby of strain-strain-strain. Such as the outdated clichés that, supposedly:
- Spiritual growth requires that you concentrate.
- Learning demands that you focus really hard.
- In order to have a good love relationship, you and your sweetheart must work terribly-terribly hard.
So very Age of Awakening: Now you can choose a good teacher and go!
COMMENT below with your teaching tales, please. And below I’ll share how I first learned the principle of effortlessness.
Amazing Gift 5 to Celebrate: Spiritual But Not Religious
Celebrate Your 9th Anniversary of the Shift into the Age of Awakening
Maybe you remember when it became a thing. #SpiritualButNotReligious sure didn’t originate with Martin Luther’s Protestant reforms.
As I recall, this idea became moderately popular during the New Age Years. (Namely, years close to the Shift. Specifically, a few decades preceding the Shift, from 1980 until 12-21-12.)
Behind the scenes, humanity was emerging from the Age of Faith. Spiritually, intellectually, and perceptually… folks like us were preparing to live in the Age of Awakening.
Now we’re here. And humanity is adjusting to this subtly different age. So many of us have become Spiritual But Not Religious, few of us bother to even notice this any more. Doesn’t the option sees obvious?
Welcome Age of Awakening, when lovers of God don’t require priests, rabbis, imams, or gurus. (Not unless we find their assistance helpful. In which case, sure, we’re free to enjoy the support of religious leaders and their religions.)
Simply put, you’re free to explore your own relationship with God. And explore it in your favorite way(s).
Do you think that relationship has changed for you since the Shift? Admittedly this topic is really personal. But please share some of this.
Remember, you can COMMENT here anonymously. In the first line, let me know what you’d like me to call you. Easy-peasy.
Amazing Gift 6 to Celebrate: Cocreate with God
Celebrate Your 9th Anniversary of the Shift into the Age of Awakening
Before the Shift, what kind of relationship could we hope to have with God?
For thousands of years, spiritual seekers would believe that angels were God’s messengers. Practically identical. (Which they’re not. Spiritual is not psychic.) Used to be, psychic was the best that most people could do.
Otherwise, lovers of God would turn to religion. Have faith. Try to have more faith. Often, begging God.
One of the most amazing gifts to you and me is that we no longer need to act like God’s dutiful, supplicating children.
We can learn how to cocreate with God. As a result, we can cocreate that way. Every single day of our Age of Awakening Lives!
COMMENT below, please, with your cocreating experience. Take a moment to assess what it’s like now. Whether outside of Energy Spirituality™. Or by using skills that you can learn uniquely here.
- Maybe describing how you’ve learned Spiritually Sparkling® Skills or other Energy Healing skills: Skills expressly designed to involve effective cocreating with God.
- How about overcoming writer’s block by learning new creativity skills. Like, Creativity Secrets with Soul… that include cocreating with God.
- Or perhaps your spiritual practice now includes cocreating with God. (Related to Gift 7, coming up soon in this blogpost.)
- Alternatively, your fave might be Energy Reading skills that hinge upon cocreating with God. (See Gifts 8 and 9, below.)
Long story, not short but… unfolding…
Your ability to actively cocreate with God definitely counts as a gift since the Shift.
Amazing Gift 7 to Celebrate: Age of Awakening Enlightenment
Celebrate Your 9th Anniversary of the Shift into the Age of Awakening
For thousands of years, only one kind of Spiritual Enlightenment was possible: Traditional Enlightenment.
Now? That’s not so. If you check at our Spiritual Enlightenment List, here at the blog, you’ll find hundreds of examples of people living in Enlightenment. Nearly all of them are living the new kind, Age of Awakening Enlightenment.
Some of you might be skeptical about this newer kind of Enlightenment. However, it has only been possible since the Shift. So why would traditional, Age of Faith, teachings have included it?
As an Enlightenment Teacher, I’m just getting started, spreading the word, doing all I can to help the field of spiritual teaching expand to include this fact: Age of Awakening Enlightenment is more popular now, compared to Traditional Enlightenment. You can expect to see this trend continue.
Amazing Gift 8 to Celebrate: Energetic Literacy – Now Yours to Enjoy
Celebrate Your 9th Anniversary of the Shift into the Age of Awakening
Aura Reading used to be a pretty exclusive club. Like, “Only clairvoyants need apply.”
Moreover, if you look closely at traditional teachings about auras, the teachings were so limited: Both limited and limiting, by today’s standards.
- Throughout most of human history, “gifted” psychics and healers would “See the colours.” So limiting was that Stage 1 Energetic Literacy!
- Only slightly better was the more advanced version of aura reading. Where a person would do a “chakra reading.” As though that were really advanced and informative. Stage 2 Energetic Literacy was terribly limited too, by today’s standards.
- And why? Because today’s standards include Stage 3 Energetic Literacy as the minimum for good quality aura reading.
Absolutely, click on these three previous links to see some quick-and-useful videos about what energetic literacy really is… From the perspective of the Age of Awakening.
Nowadays you don’t need clairvoyance to read auras. Make it your business to develop good skills of Energetic Literacy. You sure can! You’ll find that the practical benefits are numerous.
Amazing Gift 9 to Celebrate: Chakra Databanks, Your Treasure Troves
Celebrate Your 9th Anniversary of the Shift into the Age of Awakening
Speaking of essential skills for learning about people, Stage 3 Energetic Literacy makes use of a major discovery.
Have you heard of chakra databanks? If not, you’re in for a big surprise.
If so, are you reading them yet?
By all means, browse among these aura readings. All are loaded with info on chakra databanks.
And I know for a fact that chakra databanks weren’t discovered until after the Shift into the Age of Awakening. The article at the link just provided… will explain why.
As always, at this post and all the others published here, COMMENT away.
For instance, are you a chakra databank skeptic? Let me know why. Because maybe I can help you to overcome that skepticism. Why miss out on so much useful-and-practical knowledge?
In Conclusion
It’s a big deal, this 9th Anniversary of the Shift into the Age of Awakening. And it can be a big deal for YOU.
COMMENT below with what stands out for you.
Among other purposes, this Energy Spirituality™ blog aims to provide a historical record.
What has it been like for us spiritual seekers and lovers of truth?
What has been like for us to live through the end of the New Age Years? Then emerge as the first human beings ever… to live in the Age of Awakening?
How and what have we been learning? Share your unique perspective here. It’s important.

In years past I had paid respect to dying relatives, made small like this, tucked like dolls into their hospital beds. This time was different. I was saying goodbye to my father.
Memories could have flooded me with love and wonder, gratitude and rage. Instead I felt empty. All my spiritual beliefs couldn’t take away the grim reality of loss. Now was the time to tell Ernie goodbye.
My mother, who visited every day with what was left of him, tiptoed out of the room to leave us alone. What could I say to a man whose mind was gone?
For once I had no words. Finally inspiration came.
“Dad,” I heard myself say. “If we held hands and I meditated, do you suppose you could feel it?”
He gave a childlike smile. Feeling other people’s feelings was still his favorite thing.
I held Ernie’s hand, closed my eyes, and Flew in Spirit to the highest heaven I could reach.
He joined me there. I could feel his presence in the twinkling silence.
Minutes later I peeked at him and saw him sitting, eyes closed, aurically beaming.
It was our last conversation. I left him that way.
For you too, Blog-Buddies, some of the most enduring experiences you’ve had with your consciousness….
They’ve been totally effortless. Well, you can be sure that every book, workshop, and technique of Energy Spirituality is built out of effortless, while cocreating with the Divine.
Thank you for this beautiful, beautiful story Rose, and all the preceding comments.
I am so moved. I read your memoir when it was first published, but I don’t remember this story at all.
I think retreading it would be powerful for me, after several years.
This story helps me to appreciate how many effortless moments I’ve probably had, ones I don’t even remember.
I think sometimes effortful moments, or painful moments, have stuck out in my memory more, and even seemed to matter more. But that doesn’t have to be so.
Thank you for transforming this one’s consciousness!
Today I have used the skills you taught me for aura reading, for aura healing, and now I have read your story. It’s enriched my life immeasurably.
I get all that in one day… plus more?
What did I do right?
JASMINE, from my perspective what you’ve done right is… everything.
Regarding your Comment #110, your memory remains excellent. This Teaching Tale comes from “Empowered by Empathy,” now out of print. (Right at the end.) Doesn’t come from my memoir Part 1, “Bigger than All the Night Sky.reincarnation, life review, planning meeting, life review before an incarnation, planning meeting before an incarnation,“
Regarding these profound Comments #111 and 112, both kinds of stick-out experiences are ours.
It’s only human how sometimes the painful, upsetting experiences keep reminding us of our humanity — and for some of us, bring incentive to grow emotionally and spiritually.
It is also human, free-willish human, how we can LEARN skills here at Earth School, and then choose to use those skills whenever we like. Such as aura reading, Energy Spirituality ENERGY HEALING… and the day-to-day gift of Empath Empowerment®.
For top-of-the-line skills as an Empowered Empath, do a daily version of Coming Home Technique. This can be done as long and deep as you like, or else you can simply do the short version… taking 2 minutes, and not even counting as Technique Time.
(Details are in the book at the link just supplied.)
I’m not even sure this really is an Age of Awakening.
Convince me.
As a spiritual teacher, I teach. I don’t sell.
JACK if you are curious, the resource for you is “The New Strong.” Turn to it when you’re ready to learn about the Age of Awakening.
Happy Year 9! This post and the comments have been really inspiring.
I’ve made sure to celebrate in my own way today.
ANNE, Happy Year 9 of the Age of Awakening and also, as it turns out, Merry Christmas.
I’m sorry it took a few days for me to publish your beautiful comment. Still, I have a hunch your wise words may help some readers on this more famous holiday:
Celebrate Christmas in your own way today. Make sure you do it… if you’d like to “Let Today Be a Holiday.”
Rose, I enjoyed your story about an effortless and sweet experience you had letting go of your dad.
My mom was sick the last few years of her life and the hardest thing for me was she couldn’t really talk but her quick wit and intelligence was still there in her eyes and the occasional comment she managed to utter.
Your story reminds me that my painful or awkward or difficult human experiences have taught me a lot about what it means to be human and have inspired me to grow.
Sessions with you, Rose, have helped me put those experiences into perspective and also notice and enjoy effortless experiences of God I have in my day, mostly during Technique Time.
This is so much better than the striving and hard work and trying to fit in and be normal or have my family seem normal to outsiders that I used to do.
Definitely more fun and interesting!
VIOLET, thank you for sharing your story about the last years that you had with your mother; parallel to the Teaching Tale I summarized in Comments #96 – 105.
I agree with you completely that “my painful or awkward or difficult human experiences have taught me a lot about what it means to be human and have inspired me to grow.”
Such times are relatively stark reminders that we have, after all, signed up for Earth School.
In classrooms all over the world, superb human teachers also make it fun to learn — whenever possible. But sometimes the study turns serious, since certain lessons can only be learned in that way.
Also appreciated, VIOLET, are how you referred, in Comments #126 – 127, to Energy Spirituality sessions and how they have helped learn even more about some of life’s challenges.
For example, it can be very helpful to have a research session with Vibrational Re-Positioning, pulling out one incident where it seemed painful (or even cruel) how your loved one couldn’t speak at the time.
Something interesting — and usually quite beautiful — can be going on within the chakra databanks of somebody who mostly seems ill or struggling to our human eyes.
(Almost) needless to say, the perspective you’d gain from an Energy Spirituality session can also include energy healing — as happens with removal of Energetic Subroutines during Vibrational Re-Positioning®.
BTW at the link just provided, scroll down to the colorful box.
Healing does not happen, to my knowledge, when somebody turns to a psychic or medium for comfort related to a much-loved person’s terminal illness.
Although I have never sought out sessions with a medium, I’ve heard they provided details like what the deceased soul is doing now and a spiritual perspective on the death.
If that’s true, here’s another context for appreciating that Energy Spirituality sessions emphasize human learning that can help us to become more effective and compassionate during our still human lives.
While psychic readings, though understandably popular, could cause a person to take on a more other-worldly perspective, resulting in less effectiveness in life and perhaps a certain fatalism.
I found it interesting, what you just wrote about doing Vibrational Re-Positioning sessions to learn more about what happens when somebody is close to death. Is it always spiritually beautiful?
A nicer person than me would be ashamed to admit this but, if it could be up to me, I’d like certain to people to have long illnesses before death. Like, really disgusting and horrible torment while still here on the earth plane.
Rupert Murdoch comes to mind. The former guy comes to mind.
Does it always have to be beautiful spiritually when people have long illnesses like that? Pardon my saying this but I hope not.
Regarding your wonderful questions, BRENDA, let’s start with what you asked in your Comment #139, when I’ve done energetic literacy research into a person who’s close to death, “Is it always spiritually beautiful?”
That depends, of course. Ultimately, everything about a human lifetime is spiritually beautiful, even the mistakes and the pain.
What has surprised me, doing research into auras of my clients’ loved ones, was the folks who had dementia, senility, Alzheimer’s. So far, all of them had quite a lovely experience going on; it just wasn’t lovely at Human Vibrational Frequencies — that is, in human terms.
If you can’t admit things at this blog, where you’re invited to submit your comments anonymously….
For anonymity, just give me an alternate name in the first line.
And the blog where you’re commenting is monitored by an Enlightenment Teacher…
You can feel pretty darned safe, BRENDA. Also, there’s not need to judge yourself for writing whatever you’re moved to write.
One reason why we have a lively conversation here at this blog, at the “Karma” conversation post; one reason it’s meaningful and quite popular here, is that we begin to pierce through some of the illusions about injustice here at Earth School.
Fair consequences really-truly do come to everybody, BRENDA. That’s what karma means.
BTW, if I could ban a meme from the internet (good luck with that), I’d remove “Karma’s a bitch.”
To me that’s a shallow, smart-aleck kind of cultural appropriation. Karma is absolutely sacred.
Also, I’m not a fan of referring to anybody as a “bitch” except for a female dog.
As a feminist I’m kinda waiting for there to be an equally crude term, defining men in terms of being animals, reducing men to their sexuality; and have that become the most popular slang term in use for male persons. (Even better, no humans are referred to in this crude, sexually reductionistic sort of way.)
Does it always have to be beautiful spiritually when people have long illnesses like that? Pardon my saying this but I hope not.
IMO, BRENDA, it always is spiritually beautiful ultimately, when people have long illnesses, chronic pain (at any time in life), disabilities, or other health problems.
Sometimes that eternal soul is paying back karma; other times that courageous soul has volunteered to take on that karma; either way it’s not fun at the time.
Serious health problems are not fun, humanly. And when we feel bad enough humanly, we may misinterpret God, or the meaning of life, or the fairness of life, or anything/everything that’s spiritual.
Even if we volunteered for the “privilege” of the misery, we can really-truly hate going through that mess.
At death, though, the person’s aura (and soul expression) lifted out of that used-up body; cleanup is administered; and then on to the Life Review, and then the appropriate heaven.
Very different from how the end of a lifetime usually feels.
9 is the highest single digit number in the decimal system! So I am glad we are celebrating the 9th Anniversary of the Shift into the Age of Awakening!
I’m looking forward to celebrating the 10th anniversary next year as well!
I spent time reflecting on the Shift and how much change is happening in this world.
I appreciate the background on effortlessness. It helps me have a better appreciation for Energy Spirituality techniques!
ANTHONY, it’s always good to hear from you, and I am very glad you appreciate the importance of effortlessness for Energy Spirituality… or any spiritual enterprise, or attempt at emotional growth.
Straining for inner improvement? That really isn’t inherently helpful. “No pain, no gain” belongs to the Age of Faith.
True, this January 2022 marks the start of the year when we’ll see the 10 year anniversary of the Shift.
I know you’re not a psychic, Rose, but how long do you think before the majority of people on earth understand basic skills for living in the Age of Awakening?
NEIL, it’s up to us.
What can I tell you? I do more best to bring out more Energy Spirituality knowledge and resources.
What can I tell you about YOU and your role in helping to spread the word about the Age of Awakening?
You can do so much. Recommend “The New Strong” for friends; even better buy copies of this to give as gifts. Include references to this blog on social media, sharing your favorite articles.
Just one gentle invitation per person, please.
The world has bullies enough for pushing people to do pop psychology, smoke weed, go vegan, or identify as Evangelical.
* Trust that the people who can hear you will hear you.
* And the people who see your point, they’re the ones who will benefit.
* Also, those who feel comfortable, relieved, and/or curious when learning about Energy Spirituality, they’re the ones who will turn to our resources of their own accord… once invited by you.
One more idea, NEIL and other Blog-Buddies:
You might share the new Wikipedia-style article about me and the body of work so far in Energy Spirituality.
I am so glad that I read this thread of comments. I have been learning a lot about effortlessness lately and these comments very much contributed to my continuing education.
Thank you!
When I was younger, I loved Sunday School. But once I aged-out and had to sit through sermons, I fell asleep every single time.
So I figured I would just become more religious when I got older. I am older now. But I am 100% certain I will not become religious in this lifetime.
Now, I understand I can have a personal relationship with God. And I do.
Not that I have the standing to actually have a conversation. But I know God is with me.
Before the Shift, I wasn’t a spiritual seeker but I was a lover of truth.
I wasn’t satisfied with the relative truth. I wanted to know the absolute truth, what it looked like at the Source.
It wasn’t until quite a few years after the Shift that I discovered the truths I learned through Energy Spirituality.
GARY and HOLLY both, I appreciate your most recent comments here.
GARY, effortless is essential for every single skill set you might learn in Energy Spirituality. For this I thank my former guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi; he taught me well about the vital role of effortlessness for doing any skill that involves consciousness.
In addition, you know how we humans can learn important life lessons from our parents. One of the best sayings my mother ever repeated, something I really needed to hear, involved the opposite of effortlessness.
“Don’t force machines,” she’d tell me. “You’ll break them.”
Similar and subtler application with consciousness!
Now let’s take a detailed look at your wonderful series of comments here, HOLLY.
When I was younger, I loved Sunday School. But once I aged-out and had to sit through sermons, I fell asleep every single time.
So I figured I would just become more religious when I got older. I am older now. But I am 100% certain I will not become religious in this lifetime.
HOLLY, by the time you had to sit still with the grownups and listen to an entire church service, guess what?
You would still have noticed the auric modeling of the minister. As a child, you would have noticed that auric modeling more vividly than adults would have.
No wonder you fell asleep quite consistently.
Powerful connection to the Divine was available to remarkably few religious leaders during the Age of Faith (including the New Age Years, which is probably when you were growing up).
No wonder, in this religious setting, you were bored… not to tears, but to sleep.
Now, I understand I can have a personal relationship with God. And I do.
Not that I have the standing to actually have a conversation. But I know God is with me.
Comment #182 made me laugh. I also used to consistently fall asleep in a psychology class in college.
I had another lecture right before, so I tried to take a nap before both classes to help me stay awake. Eventually, I gave up and just went to the psychology class for the announcements at the beginning and the end.
I used to think I was just tired from the first lecture. But maybe I was bored.
Can’t even remember the specialty anymore, I want to say behavioral psychology. Good thing it was just an elective class.
And this from you, HOLLY! One of the most alert clients I’ve ever had, and with an exemplary memory.
Guess we stay away and recall what interests us in life. Haha.
Just been thinking lately, about what a slow, plodding agony of fumbling in the dark, finding out about the Shift would have been, without the tools you had the foresight to prepare in advance, Rose.
You only have to look outside the Energy Spirituality community to see what that looks like.
I consider what you’ve learned about the Shift in nearly 10 years to be blindingly fast.
Consider that it took the entire Age Of Faith to learn that we were even in the Age Of Faith, a discrete Age with a definite endpoint (and not just “How Earth Is”).
I’d take figuring things out with Energy Spirituality, over a new Age Of Awakening Bible-equivalent, any day of the week.
Thanks so much for this acknowledgment, THEODORE.
